Weekend Bash!!

People work very hard during the weekdays, expecting weekends. Weekends are time for relaxing and for some partying. People now work on the principle, "Work hard, party harder!!". There are many people who work 7 days a week for their business. I actually pity them because they won't be seeing the other side of life, which is actually fun.

When we hear the word party, the first thing that comes to my mind is friends. A party without friends wouldn't be a party anymore. Well I enjoy partying with friends. Being with friends gives me great comfort. We remember the days when we studied together and often talk about our childhood mischiefs. Its actually fun to hang out with friends. It takes all the tension away from our mind. We never think of work when we are with our friends. We usually move to some beach or a restaurant. My gang likes eating a lot, so we prefer moving to restaurants rather than any other hang out places. Usually we go to the beach spend some time there and then move to the restaurant.

Does group studies really help??

Well everyone in this world would have gone through the burden of studying for exams. Some find it very difficult to study the subjects all alone. So a gang of friends get together and plan to study. But do they really study is the real question here.

Well it all depends on the set of people gathered. If majority of them have the intention of studying then group studying does work out pretty well. However if there are people who just get together for the sake of having fun then I doubt whether they would study. They would be either discussing about some unwanted topic else they would be watching a movie. In short they would be doing everything other than studying. I am a person who doesn't like group studying very much. Let me highlight some pros and cons of Group studies.

Advantages:

• Knowledge can be shared
• Vast subjects can be covered in quick time by dividing the portions
• Better ideas or solutions can be arrived at
• Even a dull student can be made to understand things

Disadvantages:

• Sometimes there is no study and all play
• Some people may read the same thing faster than when they read among the group
• Many distractions may arise when a gang of people get together

Although there are advantages and disadvantages when it comes to group studies, my advice would always be that if you are a kind of person who don't like group studies, refrain from it. Dont do it just for the sake of group studies.
