When I started watching cinema I knew about villains like Raghuvaran, Prakash Raj, etc. but then I heard my dad saying that Nambiar was the best villain of all times. I then started seeing his movies and realized that he was really great. M.G.R-Nambiar fights were a treat to the eyes. What is striking about Nambiar is that he has acted with five generations of stars, from MGR to Vijay. Although he played the bad guy in the movies, he was a very simple and good man in his real life. He was an Ayyappa devotee and he used to visit Sabari Mala every year. This says how pure a man he was. He has acted in more than a 1000 films. He passed away this afternoon due to his old age and illness. My condolences to his family members and my salute to this great actor.
