England were under pressure to win this match after they had lost the series in the previous match. They had the best chance of doing so after Dhoni won the toss and sent England into bat. England started well but they kept on loosing wickets at regular intervals. Pieterson showed why he was a dangerous batsman as he along with Shah added valuable runs in the end. Pieterson scored a well made century while Shah scored a quick fire 50 runs. England raised their score to 270 and had the best chances of winning.
When Sehwag and Sachin went into bat it seemed as though they would be put under pressure. But both openers played with atmost freedom. They hit the bowlers to all parts of the park. Both scored half centuries and had an opening stand of 136. Sachin fell to a reckless shot and soon Sehwag and Yuvraj too followed. However Dhoni and Raina made useful centuries to secure another win for India. Sehwag won the man of the match. India are sitting pretty with a lead of 5-0 with 2 games to play.
