The day 4 of the test match dint have much play left in it. Australia were all set for a big victory. All hopes rested on the Taylor and Vettori pair but they did not last long. Johnson removed both Taylor and Vettori and it was game over for the Kiwis. It was just a matter of time before the Kiwis would get bowled out. Few lusty blows by Southee in the end just reduced the margin of defeat. But the Aussies were able to win and win convincingly by 149 runs. Johnson picked up 5, Clark 4 and Brett Lee picked up 1. Johnson was named man of the match for picking up 9 wickets in the Test Match. However I thought that Katich deserved the man of the match... With the second test match starting in Adelaide on the 28th of November its all to play for and nothing to lose for the Kiwis.
